Sunny and Rummy have had such fun today, pretending to be pirates aboard a real sailing ship! We went to Maldon for a two hour voyage on the lovely old Thames Sailing Barge, Hydrogen. First though, the boys found an old sea mine to play with, which is now used for collecting charity money.
They worked their way along the quayside, practicing their best swashbuckling moves before going aboard ship.
While under sail, Sunny and Rummy were keeping a close eye on the Captain at the helm, in case he decided to go the wrong way! But they soon got distracted by food and quickly scoffed the huge Ploughman’s Lunch were were given during the voyage.
Having made short work of their own plateful, they wanted to start on mine! Hey, hands off!
Me and Leo went to Leeds with Caz today and met up with Alistair, Mr Duck and lots of other geeks for Leeds Hack. We got to guard the flapjacks and only let people chomp on them if they asked nicely! Mr Duck was in charge, can you tell?
