Geeky came with me to the Museum of Power today, which had an open day with lots of fun things to do. He spent some time with his friends Adam and Claude who came along with my friend Rodney. They enjoyed all sorts of activities.
Geeky met a friendly insect chap:
He explored a lovely little model village:
Then he found the miniature railway – but luckily the train was a bit late!
He had a ride on a little Traction Engine and a big motorbike:
Geeky had fun on a big yellow machine with Adam and Claude, then after all that it was time for some serious cake! Phew! What a great outing.
This week’s theme is Your Version of a Famous Photo Or Painting. I’d been scratching my head for a while over that, and then I had a brainwave! My little Lego astronaut helped me out to recreate the iconic image of Buzz Aldrin standing on the surface of the moon with the American flag. Here’s the original:
While Caz was busy working at Telly Centre today, me and Leo went for a little explore. We found these old escalators but they wasn’t working. Caz says they have not been running for years. But you can still use them to get down to the basement as we discovered – just slide down the middle on your bottom! Wheeeee! What fun!
I’m a very lucky dragon! Today, a friend paid me €100! It’s my wages for helping Caz at the BBC with the Election Programme. I’ve worked there before, so I was happy to go back and help again.
€100 – does that make me rich? How much yummy French cheese can I get with that? I’m going to save it until I can get Caz to take me and Leo to France for a day trip – then we will be able to spend it on lovely things.
It’s Mad March as far as the weather is concerned – we’ve had MORE SNOW! I didn’t mind too much, and neither did Alby, who took the opportunity of a fresh patch of the white stuff to pose for this week’s Challenge 52 theme – Minimalism. Snoooooow!
