Notes: An improvement over yesterday’s pathetic effort, this was taken during a geocaching walk around some nice footpaths in Benfleet. Unfortunately it was still quite overcast and the ISO100 film meant I had to open up the aperture to the maximum f/3.5 which, combined with the 105mm focal lenght, has given a subtle, shallow depth of field.

Notes: We spent a grand afternoon wandering around the preserved Bowes Railway south of Gateshead, poking around all the old machines and having a great tour with one of the volunteers. This was a piece of unidentified machinery sitting rusting in the yard.
