Today was the first day of my trip to Granada and the Alpujarras in Spain. The flight was quick and efficient, taking off from London City Airport which meant I saw the sights of the Capital from above. There were also some lovely clouds along the way:

Once I had checked into my hotel I took a walk around the streets of Granada looking for some geocaches. I also found some interesting graffiti:

The sun was shining and the architecture was always worth a look, especially these attractive railings in front of an old church:

I found another intriguing church thanks to looking for one cache – the Basílica de San Juan de Dios – decorated with gold from top to toe. Quite incredible!
