I began my week away by driving to Bracknell this morning for a meeting with a man about my proposed FRPS application. It went well. For now, I’ll say no more on that topic. But afterwards I decided to have a walk around the well kept South Hill Park.
There were neat flower beds and some hedges clipped precisely in the gardens, as well as ornate benches to rest on. I also liked the lavender plants poking through the pale green railings – they made a good contrast with one another. And it nearly made it for Day #2033 but was pipped to the post by the funky stainless steel see saw I found in the playground.
After stretching my legs it was back in the car for the journey to Sutton Coldfield where I spent the night en route to Blackpool. Let’s hope tomorrow’s drive won’t be as tedious as the time I spent in traffic jams today!
