Photo A Day

Title: lloyd
Location: Museum Of Power, Langford
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 50mm EF f/1.4 USM
Notes: I’ve no idea why I find flaky paint and dilapidation so appealing… I realised you could still just about read the word lloyd on the side of this wall. This is pretty much straight out of camera, made during Chelmsford Photowalk #45.
This month we went back to The Museum Of Power in Langford for their open day. As well as the usual static exhibits, there were also vintage cars, motorbikes, models and traction engines on display. It was rather cold but we had a good outing – there were plenty of opportunities for pictures all around the site. I also had the chance to finally add another Stanger to my portfolio, [email protected] number 13, a featured mono image and have plenty of Toybox silliness.
Here are more pictures I made during the day:
Title: The Man With The Golden Bum
Location: BBC Television Centre
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 50mm EF f/1.4 USM
Notes: The sun came out today as I was crossing the courtyard in Telly Centre. It must have been summoned up by Helios, the sun god, who stands with his golden bum pointed to the sky.
It’s been snowing again, so I decided to take a walk to Sandford Mill Lock to make my monthly Scenic Location shot at the footbridge. Here you can see that the snow was still swirling around as I wandered, but I wasn’t the only fool walking in the snow!
Here are the rest of the shots I made during the walk:
