I met up with some friends this afternoon to do some street photography in Chelmsford. There was a big event on in the High Street to celebrate the switch-on of the Christmas lights. As well as a stage, there were also ceroc dancers in the street and various musical entertainment. It provided a great opportunity for people-watching. Here is a selection of some of my best images from the day:

I chose a couple of ladies meeting in the street for my Day #1427 image, and was also pleased to have re-started my 100 Strangers project after a few months’ break, meeting the lovely Lucia. I also found a few good mono images, choosing some interesting shadows for my 27th MoNovember shot. All in all, a grand day out.
