Yesterday a couple of us decided to go to the London International Tattoo Convention at Tobacco Docks for our monthly photowalk. Neither myself nor Simon are particularly comfortable with people photography, so we thought it would get us out of our comfort zones and be good practice.
Having talked to attendees of previous events, it would seem our apprehensions were unfounded – most people were more than happy to pose for pictures. I think we only had one refusal in the whole time we were there.
There was lots to see, but these are some of the stand-out characters:
And my favourite from the day:

It’s been a busy month photographically, with my 2-week trip to the north, and a photowalk at the end of the month. There were some images I quite liked, but no real standouts apart from the image of the day.
However, during my week in Leeds, this was a shot which I was pleased with from one of my days in York – the light and clouds made it quite dramatic, and I nearly chose it for Day #1316.
Another favourite from our day out in Tynemouth was this one of the lighthouse standing in a pool of sunlight, which nearly made it for Day #1323:
The Newcastle Photowalk outing also produced this rather nice picture from the Civic Centre, a near miss for Day #1329:
The Chelmsford Photowalk was a fun one this month, with myself, Adrian and Simon enjoying a day out at Mangapps Railway Museum. Here you can see them stalking one of the steam trains from a nearby break van:
This was another favourite of mine from the day which nearly got selected for Day #1336:
