Title: South Hall – Fisheye View
Location: BBC Television Centre, London
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 8-15mm Fisheye EF f/4 L USM
Notes: First outing of the fisheye lens at TVC. There are so many potential shots to be had here with the fishy lens – it’s going to be a busy last week in the building!

Curvature Of The Earth
Title: Curvature Of The Earth
Location: Coalhouse Fort, East Tilbury
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 8-15mm Fisheye EF f/4 L USM
Notes: More fun with my fisheye lens, this time exaggerating the effect of a leaning tree at Coalhouse Fort, which I visited today with the Chelmsford Flickr Photowalk group.
The Aisle
Title: The Aisle
Location: Chelmsford Cathedral
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 8-15mm Fisheye EF f/4 L USM
Notes: I had fun today trying out my new fisheye lens. The inside of Chelmsford Cathedral is always good for potential pictures – the fisheye distortion produces some intriguing curves.
Riding Past The Rockery
Title: Riding Past The Rockery
Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 40mm EF f/2.8 STM
Notes: I went to Southend today to meet up with some friends from GNPC for some street photography. This biker was moseying along the seafront on his machine, which caught my eye. The best from Day #1938 was also a mono image. Here are some more shots from the day.
The Ramp
Title: The Ramp
Location: Barbican Centre, London
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 /14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 IOS
Notes: After work this evening, I got off the tube a couple of stops early and walked to Liverpool Street via the Barbican Centre, just as dusk was falling. In the end I chose another indoor shot for Day #1936 but also liked this view up the ramp between floors. I was particularly attracted by the textures and light pools up the slope.
Squares In A Circle
Title: Squares In A Circle
Location: BBC Television Centre
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 10-22mm EF-S f/3.5-4.5 USM
Notes: I had to visit Telly Centre again today to collect some stuff we needed. My attention was caught by the light flooding into the outer ring road through the square windows. The space is pretty much deserted now all the props and studio detritus has been removed.
