Day 578 – Gardening Party

Glad we are helping!
Glad we are helping!

The garden is looking very untidy at the moment, and Caz seems too busy to sort it out. So we thought we would help. Well, when I say “we” – me and Leo decided to take it easy and put our feet up today, it was very hot. But the Uglies seem to have boundless energy no matter what the weather, so we suggested they might like to have a bash at the garden. You can see how helpful Ninja Batty Shogun, Poe, Jeero, Ket and Pointy Max were – what little stars!

Day 544 – New Friendlies

Welcome new friendlies!
Welcome new friendlies!

My ugly pals have been telling their friends how nice it is to live here, and today some more new friendlies moved in with us. We thought it would be good to have a candle ceremony when they arrived. You can see me with Ket, Pointy Max, Nandy Bear, Babo’s Bird and Ninja Batty Shogun. They are all very welcome!

Day 377 – This Way Up

It’s Alistair‘s birthday on Friday and Mr Duck is bringing him down to stay tomorrow evening for a few days. We asked Mr Duck what Alistair might like and he gave us some excellent advice. Today Postie delivered the present we have bought for him. We can’t wait to wrap it up in some shiny paper. How exciting!

Day 366 – Party Time

Birthday Party for Caz
Birthday Party for Caz

It is Caz’s birthday today, so we had another party. Can you see all our friends gathering around her cake? There’s Leo, Brown Ken, Wage, Wedgehead and Babo, Gerald, Orange Ken, Ice-Bat, Chilly, Red Monkey, Grey Ken, Jeero, Ox, Domo, Mr Duck and me. We had lots of streamers and shared the yummy cake. Caz said she had a lovely birthday with us all.

Day 145 – Tug Of War

HEEEEEAVE!
HEEEEEAVE!

Thank goodness it was a bit cooler today! But this also meant the Uglies were in the mood for mischief and were getting very excitable indoors. So I suggested they have a Tug of War to get rid of some of their excess energy.

Jeero insisted on being a team captain, and Wage organised the other side. To make it a bit more interesting, they had to tug hard so their first man didn’t fall down the hole in the middle!

I thought I was a very fair umpire, but in the end, Jeero’s team won. He got very excited then and was jumping up and down shouting "We winned! We Winned!"
