Day #310

Day #310Title: Centre Of Illumination
Location: Cambridgeshire
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 17-40mm EF f/4 L USM
Extras: Tripod / Wireless Remote
Notes: As the nights are drawing in again, I thought I would get out my programmable light wand again and have a twirl. Victoria’s garden in suitably dark with not much pollution from street lights, so I set about making a shot for the current 52 Weeks theme, Illumination. You can just see my face lurking in the middle if you look closely!

Day #309

Day #309Title: Pulverising A Pumpkin!
Location: Cambridgeshire
Camera: GoPro Hero 3+ Black
Extras: Tiny Magnetic Gorillapod / Wireless Remote
Notes: I never got round to doing anything with last week’s pumpkin. I thought I would bring it with me so Victoria and I could make use of it. First, we had to get all the seeds and pith out – the fun had only just started! In the end, we managed to dice enough pumpkin to make muffins today and have enough left for pumpkin pie tomorrow.

Day #307

Day #307Title: Tales From The Reading Room
Location: Cambridgeshire
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Extras: Tripod / Wireless Remote
Notes: Today I travelled to Cambridgeshire to stay with one of my oldest friends for a few days. We met aged 11 at secondary school, and have been friends ever since. We don’t see each other that often these days, but when we do (or call on the phone), we pick up the conversation just where we last left off! Victoria is a book lover and writes about literature at her blog, Tales From The Reading Room. Here you can see us relaxing on the new sofa, discussing books, life and other stuff.
