Day #229

Day #229Title: Safe Cracking
Location: Bethnal Green Road, Shoreditch
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 17-40mm EF f/4 L USM
Extras: Gorillapod / Wireless Remote
Notes: I found this fantastic piece of street art on the entrance to a locksmith’s on Bethnal Green road, while out on a photoshoot with friends from GNPC. Soon after taking this, the locksmith came outside and we had a long chat with him – lovely chap! And a perfect find for Treasure Hunt #41 – Urban Oppurtunist.

Location: Chappel & Wakes Colne, Essex
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Extras: Tripod / CamRanger
Notes: We spent the afternoon on a sunny geoaching walk around the villages of Chappel & Wakes Colne and taking some pictures of the famous viaduct which spans the Colne Valley, before heading to Halstead for an evening Geocachers’ meetup. The sun was in exactly the right place for a picture pointing straight down the viaduct piers.

Notes: With all the recent rain we’ve had, you would have thought that a quick dip was fairly likely, but I found words of prohibition and went home without taking a stroke…
