Title: On Yer Bike
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Extras: Tripod / CamRanger
Notes: Just in time for June’s In The Frame Shot. Although I’ve not been on my bike for a while, I do enjoy cycling – I guess I get it from my Dad who regularly rides 30-40 miles a week, just for the fun of it. Treasure Hunt Theme #06 – Once A Month – June.

Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 100D / 40mm EF f/2.8 STM

Day #178
Title: The Grand Piano
Location: House For An Art Lover, Glasgow, Scotland
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 17-40mm EF f/4 L USM
Extras: Mini Tripod / Wireless Remote
Notes: It was my last day in Glasgow with an evening flight, so I made the most of tmy time by revisiting two favourite places designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. This was in the magnificent Music Room of the House For An Art Lover in Bellahouston Park, I’ve always loved Mackintosh’s work. Getting to the house just as it opened meant I had the place almost to myself for about half an hour. Then I headed back into the centre of Glasgow for tea and cake at the Willow Tea Rooms before setting off for the airport on the bus.

Title: The Old Gatehouse
Location: Dunoon, Argyll & Bute, Scotland
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 17-40mm EF f/4 L USM
Extras: Mini Tripod / Wireless Remote
Notes: After a couple of days on business in Glasgow, I was able to have a day to myself today to indulge in some more pier-spotting. There are only two piers on my list in Scotland – both easily visited as a half-day Rail & Sail trip from Glasgow. My first place today was Rothesay on the Isle of Bute, and the second was Dunoon, where I found this dilapidated old gatehouse in the grounds of Dunoon Castle. Perfect for the current 52 Weeks Theme, Dilapidation/Ruins/Seen Better Days (I’m referring to the building, not me!)

Notes: Not much time for pictures today, I was still busy with meetings for most of the day. However, there’s one small room where you can usually grab a few moments to yourself – if your clones don’t suddenly appear in the loo flush panel!

Title: Plush Accommodation
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 17-40mm EF f/4 L USM

Notes: I had to be on a very early flight this morning for a business trip to Glasgow, so I was quite glad, once all the day’s meetings were over, to have a few minutes to relax in my hotel room before meeting my colleagues for dinner.
