Day #2406

Day #2406Title: Swift Encryption
Location: Nab Wood, Saltire
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 17-40mm EF f/4 L USM
Notes: I spent all day at LeedsHack working on my programmable LED light wand. It’s the first time I’ve done any Arduino programming so I was very pleased to get it working by the Saturday evening, in time for taking a long exposure image when I got back to my friends’ house in Saltire. The wand had been programmed to spell out a message in Morse code, and worked very successfully to transmit it if I used a steady sideways motion during the 30 second exposure. This is what happened when I waved it about randomly – can’t read the message but it looks very pretty! Hence the title, Swift Encryption.
