Day #2072

Day #2072Title: Sit Down And Rest
Location: Smithfield, London
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 50mm EF f/1.4 USM
Notes: My attention was grabbed by these funky chairs sitting outside a barber’s shop near Smithfield Market today. I loved the oval holes in their backs and how they cast holey shaows on the wall behind.

Day #2059Title: Spotty Trousers!
Location: Exchange Place, London
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 /14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 IOS
Notes: More shadowplay for you today. This is my long-legged self at Exchange Place. I liked the shapes cast down the steps but it was only once I looked at the image on the computer that I realised the studs in the steps made my “trousers” look spotty. What fun!

Day #2051Title: Striding Across Whitecross Place
Location: Broadgate, London
Camera: Canon PowerShot G12
Notes: Back to work in London today, I walked to the office via Whitecross Place this morning. It’s always good for photo opportunities, and you’ve seen it before on Day #1607 and 29th MoNovebmer ’11. The sun reflecting off some of the big glass offices surrounding the square made for soft shadows on the paving but more defined outlines of the busy commuters walking past.

Day #2030Title: Sandford Mill Footbridge – July
Location: Sandford Mill
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 10-22mm EF-S f/3.5-4.5 USM
Notes: Time for the monthly visit to Sandford Mill. Plenty of plant growth now. I managed to catch a mum fishing in the river with her little girl right on the edge of frame.
