Title: Charles Square Graffiti
Location: Old Street, London
Camera: Canon EOS 100D / 40mm EF f/2.8 STM
Notes: I found another variation on my route into work this morning. This time I found this curious mix of graffiti and commissioned ceramic street art.

Title: Pink Cabinet
Location: Agdon Street, Clerkenwell
Camera: Canon EOS 100D / 18-55mm EF f/3.5-5.6 IS STM
Notes: Clerkenwell and the surrounding area has some great customised BT Line Box cabinets around the streets – the last one I photographed was on Day #2060. I’m not sure if the art is officially sanctioned, but it’s often more interesting and aesthetically pleasing than the bog-standard dark green variety. This example was on the corner of Agdon Street and Compton Street.

Title: Flail And Fist
Location: Brighton
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 17-40mm EF f/4 L USM
Notes: Alistair and I left BarCamp Brighton for a while and ventured into the city to meet a friend for lunch today. On the walk from the University to the city centre, we passed this striking graffiti on a wall.

Title: Beneath My Feet Begin To Crumble…
Location: Wharf Road Car Park
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF5 / 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 IOS Pancake
Notes: We went for a walk into town this afternoon and stopped by the Wharf Road graffiti wall for the first time in a few months. It’s all changed again, of course. This section caught my eye. The title comes from the old Unit 4+2 hit, Concrete And Clay:
The sidewalks in the street, the concrete and the clay
Beneath my feet begins to crumble, but love will never die
Because we’ll see the mountains tumble, before we say goodbye

Title: Catch Me If You Can
Location: Whitecross Street, London
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF5 / 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 IOS Pancake
Notes: I was amused to find this comical bit of graffiti in Whitecross Street after the market stalls had packed up – which are usually in front of it. Strange creatures, indeed.

Title: An Urban Sunrise
Location: Whitecross Street, London
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 /14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 IOS
Notes: I’ve passed this BT Line Box several times this week and thought it should make picture of the day. Today was the day! It’s been decorated with some bright and cheerful patterns of a tree and sunrise – much more uplifting than the boring old dark green colour which most of these tend to be.

Title: Sunburst
Location: Scrutton Street, London
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 40mm EF f/2.8 STM
Notes: I had to take a trip up to London this afternoon to pick up some exhibition prints I had had made. It was another blisteringly hot day, so I hugged the shady side of the street during my walk to and from trendy Shoreditch. On the way back, I stopped to make a few images of the graffiti on the walls. This sunburst caught my attention. Some Stripes nearly made it as today’s image too.
