Day #2100

Day #2100Title: Paddock Shadows
Location: Doddhinghurst, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF5 / 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 IOS Pancake
Notes: Another little geocaching walk with Alistair this afternoon, the sun came out for us and it was pleasantly warm. The shadows cast by the fence in this paddock caught my attention. And I’ve reached antother milestone, Day #2100!

Day #2015Title: Folds & Shadows
Location: Brick Lane Market
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 40mm EF f/2.8 STM
Notes: This was a fleeting scene I caught in Brick Lane Market today, during a GNPC Street Photography photowalk. The stripy tarpaulin was hanging next to a wire fence, just catching the sun and shadows.

Day #1985Title: Fenced Off
Location: Barbican Centre, London
Camera: Canon PowerShot G12
Notes: What a lovely day in London! It started off with me meeting my friend Paola for a tasty lunch at Belgo’s, then we spent the afternoon catching up in the Seven Dials Club, rounding it off with a slab of yummy cake in the West End! After we parted, I found a new geocache near Broadcasting House (I’m not an addict, I can give up any time I want…) then walked back to the tube to get my train. I spotted this as I’d got off the Underground a couple of stops early. A stroll through the Barbican Centre often provides interesting photographic fodder. They’re replacing some of the slabs on one of the high walkways – I loved the way the low evening sun caught the temporary railings. It makes a perfect image for Treasure Hunt Theme #74 – Cobbled Streets (or Unusual paving).
