Day #2038

Day #2038Title: Silky Water
Location: Happisburgh, Norfolk
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: After a long drive from the North West to Norfolk yesterday, I was pleased not to have to venture very far by car today. I met up with a Twitter friend, @markescapes who has moved from Essex to Norfolk in the last few years. Small World – he used to live in the same village as me! We had an excellent late breakfast in the beach side café near Happisburgh and then took a long stroll down the beach and back along the clifftops. The light was challenging, but always interesting. I finally got to use my ND10 filter (a Big Stopper clone) which I’ve had since Christmas but not had the chance to experiment with until now. I know this sort of thing is a bit cliché here, but it’s the first time I’ve done it! Then I spent the afternoon and early evening having a solo wander around the pretty town of Cromer and enjoyed a chippy tea looking out over the pier. Oh I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside! It also fits the Treasure Hunt Theme #36 – Slow Water. The Cybermen enjoyed the beach again today, and I found some elegant curves on Cromer Pier.
