Title: Finis Coronat Opus
Location: Great Baddow, Chelmsford
Camera: Canon EOS 100D / 18-55mm EF f/3.5-5.6 IS STM
Notes: I found this curious crest on the back of some garages on a housing estate. All very odd – I’ve no idea who it represents or why it’s there!

Title: Zebra Stripes
Location: Silk Street, London
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF5 / 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 IOS Pancake
Notes: I wanted to emphasise the blackness of the new tarmac along Silk Street with this one. The two people crossing timed it just right.

Title: Sandford Mill Footbridge – November
Location: Sandford Mill
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 17-40mm EF f/4 L USM
Notes: Time for another visit to Sandford Mill Footbridge for my monthly shot. For a bit of variety, I took along some of my light painting toys to play with at dusk. Some of the pictures weren’t too bad, but the serendipitous passing of a cyclist across the bridge during one of my 30 second exposures turned out to be the best of the lot!

Title: Cloister Corner
Location: Lacock Abbey
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 8-15mm Fisheye EF f/4 L USM
Notes: After an enjoyable couple of days in Bath, today Alistair and I headed home via a visit to the Fox Talbot Musuem at Lacock Abbey. There was an excellent exhibition on show of astronomical photography, plus information on the history of early photographic processes first developed in Lacock by Fox Talbot. The Abbey is also an interesting house to visit, with many period rooms. I had to wait for some time for other visitors to absent themselves from this corner of the cloisters – a tricky feat when using a fisheye lens!
