Title: Paddock Shadows
Location: Doddhinghurst, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF5 / 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 IOS Pancake
Notes: Another little geocaching walk with Alistair this afternoon, the sun came out for us and it was pleasantly warm. The shadows cast by the fence in this paddock caught my attention. And I’ve reached antother milestone, Day #2100!

Title: Something’s Escaping From Number 53
Location: Great Baddow, Chelmsford
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF5 / 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 IOS Pancake
Notes: Alistair and I went for a long geocaching ramble around Galleywood and Great Baddow this afternoon. We may also have stopped off at a couple of pubs to sample their wares. We passed the door of this Tattoo Parlour in Great Baddow on our return leg of the walk. I thought the scary skeleton escaping through the door was rather eye-catching.

Title: On Guard
Location: Bletchley Park, Bedfordshire
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 100mm EF f/2.8 L IS USM
Notes: This fine sculptured Griffin is one of a pair guarding the door to the Mansion house at Bletchley Park, another detail found during the Over The Air conference. It’s a great historic location and well worth a visit.

Title: Mansion Detail
Location: Bletchley Park, Bedfordshire
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 17-40mm EF f/4 L USM
Notes: This is a detail from the main Mansion house at Bletchley Park, found during my visit there for the two-day Over The Air conference. It was a great event again this year. I made a Paper Enigma Machine from a tube of Pringles, enjoyed a private tour of the National Museum of Computing and was giving one of the Ignite Talks in the evening about my passion for Face Down Tuesday. That went well and raised a few laughs. More of the same tomorrow, no doubt.

Title: Mosaic Colour
Location: Fortune Street Park, London
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF5 / 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 IOS Pancake
Notes: Fortune Street Park is on a regular route for my journey from Liverpool Street to Clerkenwell. There are some fun, colourful community mosaics on one wall – this is just a little detail from part of it.

Title: The Giant Staircase
Location: Barbican, London
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF5 / 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 IOS Pancake
Notes: I’ve lost count how many times I’ve wandered through the Barbican Centre, but I’m still finding new locations for pictures. This giant staircase descends from one of the exits to the Conservatory. I liked the silly scale of it.

Title: Sandford Mill Footbridge – September
Location: Sandford Mill
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 17-40mm EF f/4 L USM
Notes: I realised it was going to be a foggy morning today, so made a special effort to get up early and pop down to Sandford Mill Footbridge for my monthly shot in some typical Autumnal weather conditions. The cyclists were in evidence again (the bridge is on National Cycle Route #1, so it’s no surprise really). This time, the pedaller in question was heading away from me, but he still adds a bit of interest. Of course, the image is for Treasure Hunt Theme #09 – Once A Month – September.
