Title: The Edge Of Sunlight
Location: Barbican Centre, London
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 IOS
Notes: I made the most of some sunlight this morning, on my way to the office. Good job too, since this evening it turned nasty and the rain set in for the night.

Title: 11-11-11
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Strobist: 1 x YN560 from camera left with Stofen softbox @ 1/64.
Notes: Something for Remembrance Day. I thought this would also make a fitting shot for Treasure Hunt Theme #62 – Negative Space. And it’s the first thing I’ve done in my new home studio, which is great.

Title: Underpass Shadows
Location: Chelmer Village
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: My kettle blew up this morning – disaster! So I had to go to the local retail park to buy another one. On the way, I took a quick walk for some fresh air and photos. These tiles and shadows caught my eye in a nearby underpass.

Title: Sinister Leanings
Location: Blackpool
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 10-22mm EF-S f/3.5-4.5 USM
Notes: An enjoyable day at BarCamp Blackpool3 today, with lots of interesting sessions going on. One was by a Physics Busker who demonstrated some physics fun outside. I took this view nearby – it looks like the sinister shadow is reaching out to get our poor victim sitting on the bench – and the street lamp is closing in too.
