Title: Six Socks
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 100-400mm EF f/4.5-5.6 L IS
Notes: Just a bit of fooling about, looking at the neigbours’ washing while the sun was out. I liked the coloured pegs!

Title: Under The Cupola
Location: Hadleigh Temple
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: This evening, I had the pleasure of judging at the Hadleigh Temple Camera Club for the first time. I had not had a chance to take a picture all day, and when I explained my project they very kindly showed me the glass cupola in the centre of the Temple. This was a view looking up to the ceiling, taken on timer, with the camera sitting on the floor.

Title: The Heart Of The Matter
Location: Writtle College
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 60mm EF-S f/2.8 USM
Notes: I went to a networking event at Writtle College today and was invited to wander around their very well-kept gardens afterwards. They are renowned as a teaching college specialising in agriculture and horticulture. Alan Titchmarsh was one of their patrons from 2001-2004. I thought this lovely rose would make a good find for Treasure Hunt Theme #69 – Elegant.

Title: Big Cat
Location: Aldeburgh, Suffolk
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: After a really interesting tour around the Adnams’ Brewery this morning and lunch on Southwold Pier, we ventured to Aldeburgh for some pictures and a walk on the beach with an ice cream. There is a large shingle bank facing the North Sea and the local fishing boats have to be hauled up via big tractors such as this. I loved the contrast in colours.

Title: Morning Fields
Location: Ingatestone
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: Uncharacteristically, I was early for the train this morning, so I took a short walk for some photos near the station. The Oilseed rape is beginning to flower, and I liked the way this old tree framed the sky.
