Notes: I’ll admit that I’m a coward, and this is the closest I’m going to get to a proper Camera Toss. It’s a tethered toss (I was still holding the camera wrist strap – I’m not daft!) looking at the Christmas lights in a neighbour’s front garden. I liked the single shape of a star which remained in this shot. It’s good enough for my Treasure Hunt Theme #57 – A Camera Toss.

Title: London Hill – March

Notes: It’s been a while since I’ve taken London Hill, and I was beginning to run out of March for this month’s shot. So I was pleased that this evening, the weather was a little better to make a dusk shot at the location. I waited around for some traffic to come down the hill and used a 6 second exposure to capture the trails made by the brakelights as it passed. So this is my effort for Treasure Hunt Theme 03 – Scenic Location, March.

Notes: After a spot of geocaching during the afternoon, Alistair arranged an ad hoc get-together of the Newcastle Photowalk folks this evening. We enjoyed a potter around the quayside and Sage Centre at dusk. This is a long exposure looking north towards the Millennium Bridge, straight out of camera, no fiddling! We then went to The Cluny for a rather tasty burger, a few pints and chat. Great to meet you folks!
