Notes: I had a meeting in Brentwood this afternoon, and took the opportunity to have a walk around Ingrave on the way home. I liked the way these two tracks in the stubble diverged.

Title: London Hill – June
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I realised in a bit of a panic that I hadn’t taken June’s shot of London Hill. So I popped out this evening to rectify the situation. Thought I would give it a bit of Orton, just to be different. I remembered how vicious the nettles are, so dressed appropriately this time!

Title: London Hill – May
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I realised today that I was beginning to run out of May for this month’s London Hill shot. So this afternoon, I ventured forth in the baking sun to see what I could get. The weather had obviously brought out the Convertible crowd, as this Vauxhall shows. I can’t believe how much the vegetation has grown in five weeks – and was beginning to regret wearing cut off trousers and sandals when I saw the nettles by the verge! Still, I managed to find a sting-free location to stand for the shot. Treasure Hunt Theme 5 – Scenic Location – May.
