Title: Tongues
Location: Ingatestone
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: After a much needed lie in and lazy morning, I was invited to a friend’s for lunch unexpectedly. We enjoyed a long catch up and lovely food, and I rather took a shine to the shape of her salad tongues as we were about to dish up.

Title: Ashtray Stripes
Location: Leeds
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: Spending the weekend at Leeds Hack, a few of us went for a quick walk around lunchtime and I found this rather nice stripey tablecloth outside a cafe by the canal.

Title: Patchwork In Miniature
Location: Makerspace, Newcastle
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: The weather was pretty ropey today, and I didn’t have much inspiration for pictures. But this light bulb caught my eye – and reminded me of a miniature version of my earlier image taken on Day #952

Title: The Blue Carpet
Location: Newcastle
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: This is part of an art installation in the city centre, which looks like a carpet. Most of it is actually a pale blue-grey, but I really liked the odd tiles I found which were a more vivid blue. This is one corner where they showed up particularly well after a heavy rain shower.
