Notes: I recently won this old Printers Type Tray in an eBay auction (for cheap!). So I spent some of the afternoon scraping out the dirty paper from each compartment (stuck down with years of ink and grime) and cleaning it. Dull work, but I’m still very tired after my weekend so I wasn’t up to doing anything more exerting! And tomorrow I’m off to Dorset for a few days’ holiday, so I was conserving my energy.

Notes: I managed to slip out for an hour this morning during BarCampLondon6 to find a couple of geocaches and take some photos around the area with a couple of friends. This shot is from an amazing little place called Camley Street Gardens, a nature reserve just behind King’s Cross station. This coot was diving for breakfast, proviging some excellent ripples in the water.

Notes: Taken around 11:30pm on the way back to stay with friends in Docklands. We are all helping to organise a conference at The Guardian’s offices over the weekend, and spent 5 hours setting up this evening. This shot is just around the corner from my friends’ flat, a lovely view across towards Canary Wharf.
