Title: Chilly Outside, Chili Inside
Location: At home
Camera: Canon Ixus 850IS compact
Notes: A bit strapped for time and decent daylight today, as I’ve been trying to get loads of things finished before heading off for a long weekend away at BarCampSheffieldII. You’ve actually seen this before, but this time, I went for a macro shot.

Day #324
Title: Fractal Food!
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes: I’ve been fascinated by Broccoli Romanesco ever since I saw Erasmus T’s picture of it on Flickr ages ago, but haven’t been able to find any in the shops until yesterday. So this morning, I decided to have a go at some still life, lit by natural sunlight from the window. Seems too good to eat, doesn’t it?
Day #229
Title: The Grapes Of Cough
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: Still not feeling too great, the sneezing and coughing are coming and going. So I spent the day watching Team GB winning medals on the telly, and eating grapes – aren’t they supposed to make you feel better?
Day #173
Title: Pie & Mashed
Location: Ally Pally
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: Spent the day geeking out at Mashed and this was part of the catering provided for dinner – a surprisingly tastey steak and mushroom pie. With Mash, of course.
Day #153
Title: Fancy That
Location: Leicester Square
Camera: Canon EOS 300D / 17-85mm EF f/4-5.6 IS USM
Notes: Part of the lunch menu provided at BarCampLondon4 by eBay. Yummy cakes!
Day #96
Title: Glorious Gluttonous Galaxy
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes: The 366 group has a new theme for this week, the Seven Deadly Sins. And since I was photographing brown things today, I present you with G for Glorious Gluttonous Galaxy. Let’s face it, one chunk is never enough, is it?
Day #39
Title: An Apple A Day…
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes: I was sitting on the sofa, snacking on an apple mid-morning, when I noticed how nice the light was on the skin and stalk. I fitted my 12mm extension tube to my 50mm f/1.8 lens and snuck in close.
