Title: London Hill – February
Location: Galleywood
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: Today has been a day full of news, and for patience finally paying off. Don’t they say that:
Good things come to those who wait…
First thing, I received a deposit cheque from a client to commence a medium-sized project – one which I first quoted for back in February 2009! And then at lunchtime, I heard from some more folks who want me to do a much larger piece of work for them, starting with some consultancy in the next couple of weeks. So that put me in a very good mood, considering the past few months have been very barren in terms of earnings, and the savings are beginning to wear rather thin. Then I noticed the sun was out and thought I should head to London Hill to take my February view for Treasure Hunt Theme #2 Scenic Location – February. Just as I arrived at the right spot, the sun went in! But I hung around for a while, took some other pictures and waited for it to emerge. After a few minutes by the roadside, I noticed a poor cyclist puffing his way up the hill and knew this would be the shot I wanted. So I waited… and waited… and as soon as he reached the patch of sunshine – click!
