Day #664 Title: Spooning
Location: South Bank, London
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 17-85mm EF f/4-5.6 IS USM
Notes: This morning, taking a short break from BarCampLondon7 at IBM, Alistair & I decided to go on a quick photowalk along the South Bank. We passed some interesting design shops near the Oxo Tower, and this set of nested spoons caught my eye in one of the windows.

Day #549Title: When In Spain…
Location: Escribà, Platja Bogatell, Barcelona
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 17-85mm EF f/4-5.6 IS USM
Notes: … you have to eat at least one Paella. After another swim first thing, I took a walk in the new local park close to where my friends live. Then it was back to the apartment to pick up Vanessa and we headed along Rambla del Poblenou to the sea. At Platja Bogatell there is a very well known seafood restaurant, where we sat down to eat this enormous paella (between us, I hasten to add!) followed by a delicious 4-chocolate pudding for dessert. Then we waddled back to the apartment and chilled out until it was time for me to pack my bags and head for the airport. It’s been a lovely trip. I have avoided the usual tourist spots (which I saw on my last visit in 2006) and enjoyed some of the more out-of-the-way places and sights instead.
