Title: A … Is For Anticipation
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes: The Birthday Fairies™ delivered my present a couple of days early today. I’m being very good and not opening it until 1st January. But anticipation and excitement is definitely building, even though I already know what’s inside. I’m not giving any more away for the moment. But suffice it to say that I will be getting a lot of use out of the contents during 2010. Can’t wait!

Title: Bubble Chamber
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes: Not a lot of inspiration today – it was another grey, grim, rainy affair. But then I found this bubbly mint Aero to have with a cuppa, and things didn’t seem so bad.

Notes: OK, more frost and ice. This time just outside the back door. You don’t have to go far for an interesting shot…

Title: Fingers Of Frost
Location: Noak Bridge Nature Reserve, Basildon
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes: We had a very heavy frost overnight, and in some places, it hung around all day where the sun didn’t shine. I had to take the car for an MOT and service early this morning, and spent some time in Gloucester Park and Noak Bridge Nature Reserve in Basildon while I was waiting for it. These leaves were in a dim corner of the Nature Reserve and were still perfectly preserved with their icy coating.

Title: 700 Bubbles
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes: Sorry for the uninspired shot again today. I wanted to do something to mark the milestone of Day 700 but was really stuck for ideas. I’ve encountered rather a lot of bubblewrap in the last few days during my cupboard tidying, and I love the stuff for popping. I bet I could do 700 on the trot, no problem.

Title: 2-4-6 8 Motorway
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes: Another day of head down and get on with it, with little chance to get out and about for pictures. But I rediscovered this colourful little folding ruler in a cupboard I was turning out the other day, and I’m a bit of a sucker for funky stationery. It also rather suits this week’s 52Themes2009 subject Music (Interpret A Song). So here you have it, “2 4 6 8 Motorway” by the Tom Robinson Band.

Title: Shreddies
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: Another boring day at home spent cleaning, sorting out, filing and shredding. This is the product of me feeding all sorts of rubbish into the chomping machine.
