Notes: This week’s 52Themes2009 subject is Food. Normally, I don’t have any problem with that! But I’ve been struggling to come up with anything remotely original for a picture, and today is the last day I can take it. So I decided a bit of lateral thinking was required. Around Christmas (it’s only next week, Yikes!), we can get a bit naughty with the amount we eat. So here is a nice, calorie-free meal for you – go on, you won’t put on a pound. Especially as these are not much bigger than a £1 coin

Notes: Lunchtime today was the Christmas party of one of my networking groups. We had an excellent menu, topped off by one of my favourites for pud, Profit Holes, aka Profiteroles. Nothing to do with my 40@40 which I did with friends Rob & Sue this evening. But we were so busy chatting and having a good catch-up that I forgot to take any pictures. D’oh!

Notes: I arranged to meet up this afternoon for another 40@40, this time with Martha, a friend who used to work at the BBC with me, but we haven’t seen each other for nearly 3 years. The great thing about good friends is that, even though you might not have met for ages, you can take up where you left off and it doesn’t seem like 5 minutes ago. We had a lovely lunch and catch up and have promised not to leave it so long until next time.
