Day #541Title: Uncommon Sunset
Location: Galleywood Common
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: It’s been a lovely sunny day all day, but I had little time to take any pictures. Just after eight I decided to nip out to my favourite spot at Galleywood Common to take a few images, then returned to cook dinner. After eating my stir-fry, I sat down to process the pictures whilst watching TV. By this time, it was about half past nine, and I noticed a pink glow out of the window. When I looked out, I realised the sky was turning a stunning colour, so grabbed the camera and jumped in the car again. This time, the images were much more impressive – so I’m glad I made the effort to get of my bottom and take them, and not just be lazy and make do with this one!

Day #525Title: Head In The Clouds
Location: Galleywood Common
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 17-85mm EF f/4-5.6 IS USM
Notes: Finally, after several weeks of touting for work, the hard graft has  paid off and three jobs have come along at once! Such is the nature of freelancing — famine or feast — so I shouldn’t complain. But now my head is in the clouds…

Day #506Title: Down By The Tyne
Location: Corbridge, Northumberland
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: We decided to head out west this afternoon for a spot of cache hunting. This was a nice view along the Tyne at Corbridge, and represented the changable cloudscape of the afternoon quite well. We managed to survive without getting wet too!
