Day #274Title: Rainbow Feathers
Location: At home
Camera: Canon Ixus 850IS compact
Notes: Nothing much to photograph outside today, the weather was pretty miserable. So I dug through the props box and found some colourful feathers to play with instead.

Day #194Title: Summer Sizzler, 22°
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes:
OK, so I’m being a little sarky with the title. Rain showers and sunny spells outside, me stuck inside doing jobs like cleaning the kitchen. So here’s a pic of my Galileo Thermometer. I realise they have been done before (rather well) by Erasmus T and touchingthelight, but this is my first shot of one this year.

Day #109Title: Colour Clash
Location: At the supermarket
Camera: Canon Ixus 850IS compact
Notes: Not much time today, and less inspiration. The weather was cold and grey. This was a quick grab shot of a colourful bunch of flowers in the shop. Although I liked them, they were frightfully expensive, and not my colour scheme. At least a photo is free!

Day #89Title: Exploring Orange
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes: I’ve been playing with some stationery today, and thought this group of bits and pieces worked well for today’s colour, Orange.

Day #48Title: Reflecting Orange
Location: easyHotel, South Kensington
Camera: Canon Ixus 850IS compact
Notes: Spending the weekend in London for a conference, I booked up a cheap hotel – one of the easyChain with the inevitable ubiquitous orange branding everywhere. The room was barely bigger than the bed; there was a plastic pod in the corner which contained a loo, washbasin and shower. And a lot of orange. At least it was cheap…
