Day #301Title: The Heart Of A Lily
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes: I nearly missed taking a shot today! Made it by about 20 minutes, after having had a very busy day and then getting home just after 11pm to realise I’d still not taken anything. The lovely  bouquet I got for judging the other day was looking a little bit sad, but I managed to home in on one lily and take a few macro shots of its central form. Then I remembered I’d not changed my camera back to GMT, so it nearly got recorded as being taken on 28th after all!

Day #294Title: These Boots…
Location: At home
Camera: Canon Ixus 850IS compact
Notes: I’ve been doing quite a bit of walking recently (not far by some standards, but I get about). And since this week’s 366 Theme is Boots, I thought I would present you with my walking boots. Didn’t have the opportunity to use them today though - I was busy at home at it was grey and grim outside :-(

Day #282

Day #282Title: Climate Change
Location: At home
Camera: Canon Ixus 850IS compact
Notes: Although it was lovely and sunny out today, I was stuck home working for most of it. This afternoon, when I got something out of the fridge and took off the lid, there was a rather attractive group of water droplets formed on the underside. Precipitation in my house!

Day #261

Day #261Title: Irridescence
Location: At home
Camera: Canon Ixus 850IS compact
Notes: I wore my new necklace and matching earrings today. And I was pleasantly surprised that at least half a dozen people commented how nice it was! So I thought I would take a picture with me modelling it.

Day #257Title: Enigma XI
Location: Galleyend
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes:
I enjoyed a 5 mile walk this afternoon, in search of geo-caches in the area. And I found my first one (#GC1G67Y) in Great Baddow. However, since the idea is to keep their exact location secret unless you’re a goe-cacher, I’m not about to publish a picture of it! Instead, here’s an enigma for you, which I found early on in my walk, near Galleyend.

Day #255Title: In The Eye Of The Beholder
Location: South Farm, Shingay
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes:
I attended an excellent conference today, run by WiRE, at a farm just north of Royston. It is also used as a Wedding venue from time to time. One of the decorations in the foyer was a huge vase stuffed with peacock feathers. So I took the opportunity to sneak a photo during the lunch break.

Day #244Title: The Clock Is Ticking
Location: At Home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes: Well, today is officially the end of Summer (such as it was!), and we’ve also reached another milestone - we’re exactly 2/3rds of the way through the year and this 366 Project. I’m afraid I didn’t venture far past the back door for today’s shot. Although the forecasted deluge hasn’t yet reached Essex, the light was pretty awful for most of the day, so I’ve stayed at home doing jobs.
