Day #216Title: Down In The Jungle
Location: At home
Camera: Canon Ixus 850IS compact
Notes: I haven’t cut the grass for ages, as you can see. Today, Tidy The Garden had floated to the top of my “can’t put it off any longer” list. I managed to get it all done and have a good hack at some overhanging plants around the gate before the heavens opened for a short, sharp shower. So I retreated inside for a nice soak in the bath.

Day #164Title: Dusk Grasses
Location: Galleywood Common
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I took a few pictures in the garden earlier today, but wasn’t really happy with them – they weren’t terribly inspiring. I’d almost forgotten about taking any more until about 8:30 when I noticed the evening clouds turning nice colours outside. So I headed out to a favourite spot on Galleywood Common and found some grasses waving in the breeze looking westwards. Crouching down low (another different viewpoint for this week’s theme), I managed to get some interesting shapes in silhouette against the setting sun.

Day #37Title: 12 O’Clock Shadow
Location: Tile Kiln, Chelmsford
Camera: Canon Ixus 850IS compact
Notes: Went for a walk to get some air and buy some food, now I feel like eating again. Wasn’t terribly inspired, despite the sun shining. But this caught my eye as I wandered past someone’s front garden. I thought it suited a mono treatment.

Day #9Title: The Goal Posts
Location: Chelmer Park
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 17-85mm EF-S f/4-5.6 IS USM
Notes: The forecast for today promised a nice morning with rain in the afternoon, so I took myself out for a walk before lunch. The long shadows of these goal posts in Chelmer Park caught my eye. Wrong sport for me, obviously, but I couldn’t find any rugby posts!
