Day #215Title: The Lady In Red
Location: At home
Camera: Canon Ixus 850IS compact
Notes: This is a character for my miniature teapot shop, whom I acquired from a visit to Maple Street yesterday. This week’s theme is Red, so I thought she would make a good picture for today to fit the subject. She is very fond of Art Deco teapots, as you can see.

Day #165Title: Anyone For Cocktails?
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I love all things Art Deco. This is a 1/12th-scale model of an Art Deco cocktail bar. Another shot for this week’s theme – A Different Viewpoint – this time, a doll’s eye view.

Day #75Title: Faded Grandeur
Location: Saltdean Lido
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I was staying in Seaford last night and drove along the coast road to the University of Sussex’s Falmer Campus for BarCampBrighton2. The road passes through Saltdean which has an Art Deco Lido, now looking a little bit the worse for wear. I had seen it on the BBC’s "Coast" programme some time ago, so thought it might make a decent picture for today. The light was pretty flat and ovcercast, so a bit of Photoshop fiddling was required to bring out a bit of contrast.
