Title: Marina Reflections
Location: Springfield Lock
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I took the opportunity to nip out for a breath of fresh air while the sun was shining today. And find another geocache or two. Once again, geocaching has taken me to a spot which I didn’t even know existed, and it’s lovely. It’s along the Chelmer & Blackwater Navigation, just downstream of the Essex Record Office, and is about the last bit of civilisation before you hit the more rural paths along the canal.

Title: Curvy Cat
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 17-85mm EF f/4-5.6 IS USM
Notes: Totally miserable weather outside all day. But this week’s 366 theme is Animals, so I thought I would take a still life of this glass cat sculpture.

Title: Reunion
Location: Colchester
Camera: Canon Ixus 850IS compact
Notes: I spent a lovely lunchtime and afternoon visiting some old school friends, some of whom I hadn’t seen for years. Great to catch up. Here they are with a photo of us in 1985. No, you’re not seeing that any bigger!

Title: Leaded Lights
Location: Harlow Common
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 17-85mm EF f/4-5.6 IS USM
Notes: I visited a client’s studio today to photograph some handbags for her website. This was the lovely view out of the window, once it had stopped raining.

Title: I Parked The Porsche…
Location: Writtle
Camera: Canon Ixus 850IS compact
Notes: … under a tree, and it got covered in leaves. Actually, not my Porsche, just one I came across whilst pottering for pictures in Writtle.

Title: Wet Pavements
Location: Lincoln’s Inn Fields
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I spent the day in London visiting former colleagues for lunch, and then at another friend’s studio during the afternoon to take some images for possible use as Christmas cards. Sadly, the results weren’t partcularly good - we completely failed to light a pudding - and our painting-with-light efforts turned out a bit paltry. Then I went to the London Photographers’ Meetup Group drinks in The Strand for a couple of hours this evening. This image was taken on the way back to the tube, when It took a detour around some of the back streets on my way to Holborn.
