Title: Boreham House
Location: Boreham, Chelmsford
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I had to pop over to the Parcel Force depot in Boreham this morning to pick up a package, and took the opportunity to stop at Boreham house for a quick picture. I liked the muted tones of the day and thought sepia suited the mood rather well. Compare this with Ken’s version of the same location from a few weeks ago!

Title: Marina Reflections
Location: Springfield Lock
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I took the opportunity to nip out for a breath of fresh air while the sun was shining today. And find another geocache or two. Once again, geocaching has taken me to a spot which I didn’t even know existed, and it’s lovely. It’s along the Chelmer & Blackwater Navigation, just downstream of the Essex Record Office, and is about the last bit of civilisation before you hit the more rural paths along the canal.

Title: Up The Garden Path
Location: Moulsham Mill, Chelmsford
Camera: Canon Ixus 850IS compact
Notes: Found myself at Moulsham Mill again this evening, this time to judge a photo competition for Chelmsford Camera Club. And I realised I hadn’t yet got a picture by the end of the evening. But one thing I’ve learned over the last 310 days is not to panic - picture opportunities will present themselves. Just as I was leaving, I noticed this path through an ornamental garden, and rather liked the light filtering through the trees, even though it was pretty dark.

Title: Light Trails At The Mill
Location: Moulsham Mill, Chelmsford
Camera: Canon Ixus 850IS compact
Notes: Another long day in front of the computer, with largely grey skies outside. But I went out this evening to a meeting at Moulsham Mill, which had some attractive blue fairy lights on the outside. I decided to try a bit of artistic camera wobble, and this is what came out.

Title: After Constable
Location: Little Baddow
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 17-85mm EF f/4-5.6 IS USM
Notes: A much more successful caching day today - I managed to find my 50th hide with Alistair’s assistance. This was taken on a short walk between two sites along the Chelmer & Blackwater Navigation, and reminded me of a Constable painting. I haven’t done anything to it, it’s as it came out of the camera.

Title: Hide & Seek
Location: Great Baddow
Camera: Canon Ixus 850IS compact
Notes: We tried to do some caching today, but after finding this one in Great Baddow, we drew a blank on two more and got drenched in the process. Ah, the perils of addiction…
