Notes: Today, I attended the London hub of the world’s first global web conference, <head>. It was a lot of fun, especially as it was being held at the Magic Circle HQ in Euston. Not only were various folks there in person, but there were live linkups with other hubs around the globe, as well as in Second Life. The conference continues, largely online, over the weekend. Horray for broadband!

Notes: I had an errand to run in Ingatestone this lunch time, so took the opportunity to have a quick walk near Fryerning Church while the sun was out. I rather liked the shadow of this tree against the bare brown field.

Notes: The light was fairly changeable today, but I was lucky to catch this rather nice highlight on the water of the River Colne, having taken a walk along the Wivenhoe Trail this afternoon. At a bend in the river, there is a good view of the village of Rowhedge across the water.
